Its a great pleasure to have my name among the 208 artists in that book, it just feels....wow. =D
Okay, so its time to do more painting. I haven't got a concrete idea, but I do have the feeling I wanna go for. Hope I can get it started today.
I know I am supposed to finish my centaur...but...but I wanna paint T_T
Inspirations, inspirations, inspirations....
Got a collab with friends on a new personal CG project. Lotsa technical stuff and such. Seems huge for a small team. But it gonna help me get back my long-lost touch. This is gonna be a slow project...
I didn't get into this industry to become an artist. I become an artist to get into this industry.
No matter how I fare, I am already an artist. So I am back to whatever I am meant to be, an
ARTIST.
Its really nice to actually see who are my friends and how many I have during these hard times. I used to think its hard to find a good listener in this world, I was wrong afterall. Millions of thanks to my dearest friends for your support, guidance and of course, treats lol. And thanks for guiding me to the right answer. YOU GUYS ROX!!!
Thanks to Jerome for sharing this with me.

Holiday is over! And I'm back!
Hokay, time to flash out my tablet and start to look like an artist. Look at that layer of dust on my Intuos 3! Hmm, maybe its a good excuse to ditch it and get an Intuos 4 :P
I figured its time I should bring my centaur to life. I have the concept drawings for like...a year. There were too many considerations on accuracy of design blah blah blah. Then I decided, well as long as it looks good, its good. I don't think anyone wanna point out "Hey a ceremonial armor should not be battle weathered!"
Its gonna be a base model done in Maya, sculpted in Zbrush and retopo. The final product will be a low poly game model. Why a low poly game model? Because I do not have a complete one in my portfolio =3
Anyway, I spent the morning doing up the zbrush head. It was half finished the last time I left it. I had recieved critics it could use more daring sculptings. So I did and well it does look alot better.
I will do more details on the ear to make it, well, look like a ear.I will not touch on the back of the head at all since this guy has a helmet. After this I will move on to the helmet. I will post the scans of the concept designs when I'm not lazy to bring out the scanner and install everything.
