Zbrush is pretty much done. No she is not hairless. Her hair comes later.

Some changes need to be done to the UVs but its pretty much done. Most of the normal and cavity maps have been generated. Color maps comes next.

The last time we chat, you were going to USA for treatment.
I told you that you will be alright and just concentrate on recovery.
When you return, we shall play together again.
You never did.

Life was never easy on you. Yet you lived through painful times, putting on only the sweetest smile for the sake of everyone around you.
Your strength in life was something I respected, for I would've crumbled long ago.
The disease was cruel to you. Yet you fought so bravely till the end of the days. Your courage was second to none.

You were strongheaded, yet charismatic. You were delicate, caring and understanding. Young as you were, you have shown qualities many others do not possess.
You told me not to give up, and fight for what I want. You shown me trust that none other ever did.
If I were to choose someone to lead me, I would choose you.

Your beauty had drawn many friends.
Your passing had many of us to shed our tears.
We were friends, but I had always wished we were more. I had loved you like a sister.

Rest in peace my dear friend. Tonight I shall weep for you.

The enviroment low poly is done, finally. Its supposed to be some underground mine tunnel thingy whatever it looks like.

The shafts are more or less done. The walls will need zbrushing to beef up the rocky feel and retopo after that. My teamate Jerome is working on the door area of this tunnel, which after that the environment will be ready for animation. Textures for it will come later. Meanwhile I am sculpting the character in zbrush and color-texturing for her will be right next.

06/08/08: Old man zbrush

Here is a shot of whatever is left over of the specialisation model.

I gave up the model, kinda lost interest in it. I did quite some poly painting on the head, and pretty pleased with the result if u ask me. Its my first try, remember.



I am not sure if I will complete this model ever. Chances are no. Its a nice concept but just won't make a fun model.

A new one is coming up, unforuntately not smoothly. Struggling with mind blocks.

Finished the high poly version of the character finally. Ready to sculpt and texture. But I'll just put that off till later. Environment will the the next coming up.

Oh yea I unwrapped it too.Unwrapping is Maya is juz fun.





Meanwhile I am also working on my new character. Will post updates on him soon. Good news is I haven't been wasting time doing nothing useful. Looks like I am gaining back my motivation to build a good reel.

The stress is still there. There is still no smile. But the frown simply just loosened.
