First of all, why a change of website?
A little boring history:
Whisper of the Dreams (WotD) had been the name of my website since 2000, and I carried the alias 'dreammh' which I came up with in 1998. WotD was hosted under many different hosts, mostly free ones. In 2004, I got my first personal domain dreammh.com. In the same year, I came up with my personal avatar logo which I used as signature to watermark my artworks:
Until now, no one is able to tell if its a bird or a fox or an abtract art made by some monkey.
If you ask me why I came up with such a pansy name like "Whisper of the Dreams" back then, I can't really explain. You don't expect much from and emo kid anyway. FIY, I still like that name Whisper of the Dreams :x
Anyway, 3 months ago, my contract with the hosting company expired. Its supposed to be an auto renew thing, but I forgot I changed my debit card earlier this year. The company was unable to bill me so the hosting contract ended and WotD was down. 2 months ago, I decided to get WotD up and running again. I had an idea of getting a new name for the webbie, to mark a new start in my life (I can start another story on this but I guess I better not ._.). It took me a damn long time to come up a name that I like and a new logo to go along.
And so here I am with a new website, new name, new design and a new goal in my life. A new Henry too.
So long, dreammh.
Woot! Finally! I got things up and running!
Well not totally completed, but hey its running. At least its better than displaying the default nucleus page ._.
The galleries might gonna need more time. And free time is getting really scarce. With all the homework and projects at hand, I am wondering when could I ever complete this webby.
The journal is up, but probably no one will read it for some time. As I am typing this entry, no one knows of this website yet. My previous readers still go to dreammh.com. Yeah it displays the no page found thingy. I am trying to get the redirect shit up, but all these DNS things are starting to get on my nerves.
I can expect lesser readers than before as its hard to advertise the website all over again. Anyway this gonna be more of my own diary than a blog so I don't really care about number of readers. I don't expect to put up funky photos like I used to since I don't have much of my social life anymore. This time its more of sharing my art and works. Yeah kinda boring :(
All the entries and works I left in dreammh.com are lost when I switched host and didn't bother to renew the previous host. Luckily I got most of my galleries backed up. But the blog, photos and guestbook entries are not saved. So please take some time to sign my guestbook if you happen to come here.
Since its the first day my webby starts its business since dreammh.com shuts down 3 months ago, I got quite alot of entries in mind. Instead of chucking the whole shit into one single entry, I figured out I might just wanna make a few entries.
